No credit for aircraft loans or bad credit for aircraft loans? Call Us Today at: 1-516-319-5000

Dear fellow Aviators,

Are you willing to let another Spring or even Summer pass you by without having access to a plane while you watch everyone else casually go down to the airport to go flying? This winter and it's brutal temperatures has left me thirsting for a fantastic summer! I can't wait for those never ending days in July and August. I am sure you are looking forward to them too. So be prepared! Take advantage of one of life's best offer, flying your own airplane!! Ownership has never been so attainable. The market has come down so much there is no excuse anymore. Use the tips below as a guide and don't forget to check out our sales page for fabulous deals!!

1. It is still a buyer's market but don't make the all too common mistakes of looking for a "steal." There is nothing wrong with getting great value for your money but the phrase "you get what you pay for" has never been so true. I see many buyers ending up with planes that need a lot of work. My recommendation is to spend a little more and get a plane that will minimize your yearly annual bills.

2. This leads me to the next very important stage of aircraft shopping. The pre-buy inspection. Bring your own mechanic to the pre-buy inspection. Maintenance bills can be excessive and your first annual bill is usually higher than the following years. If the mechanic that does your first annual does the pre-buy inspection, there really shouldn't be any surprises on the first annual. This will help in determing the costs of owning your own aircraft.

3. When choosing your aircraft, try to pick maintstream type airplanes as in Beechcraft, Bonanza, Piper, Cessna, Grumman. These aircraft are usually easy to repair and parts are readily available.

4. There are few characteristics of planes that you should be looking at when valuing the aircraft. Keep in mind, the younger the plane is and the least amount of hours on the airframe the more it will hold its value. It is probably a good idea to purchase a plane that was built past the year 1965. I also prefer to look for planes with less than 8500 hours on the airframe. The value can be seriously diminished as the hours continue to accumulate from there.

5. The engine is a significant feature of an aircraft. Many buyers do not realize that a top overhaul typically just means new cylinders. Look for aircraft that have had all the cylinders overhauled or replaced with new and have had the crank case overhauled. Typically I like to see that the engine has atleast half of its life left to burn. This allows you to fly the plane for a few years without having to worry about putting money into. You will also find yourself in a better position for re-sale.

So good luck and feel free to call me with any questions! I really enjoy helping first time buyers find the right plane for them. Applications can be found on this site and faxed in to me.

Sue's top picks for the year 2011: Piper 180, cherokee six and Saratogas, Bonanza 35, Grumman Tiger AA1-5

Aircraft financing can be very difficult to acquire particularly if you have had experiences in your life that have negatively impacted your borrowing power. A bankruptcy, medical bills, divorces, and even poor business decisions shouldn’t prevent the honest good American from obtaining aircraft financing. These situations can devastate a credit report and render the consumer hopeless. Many other companies require a 685 or better on credit reports, tax returns that show great income potential and strong income statements. We don’t feel that these documents always represent the customer fairly.

That’s why at The Mancuso Group, Inc. we take a different approach. No credit? No problem! We respectfully, spend the time necessary with every applicant to help making aircraft ownership an enjoyable experience, as it should be. Our decisions are based on the quality of aircraft, integrity of the borrower and the down payment. It’s that simple!

We specialize in offering collateral based aircraft financing on single engine piston aircraft. The aircraft loans are interest only which help keep the monthly payments down. The aircraft loans range from $8,500 to $75,000 and are typically bridge loans lasting only a couple of years. The funding can be done quick and easy. We will contact you and approve your aircraft loan within 24 hours of submitting an application (found on our website Application). The whole aircraft loan application process may be completed on your timeline. Two days if necessary!

The personal touch this industry so longs for is apparent with each aircraft loan at The Mancuso Group, Inc. The contact number is 516-319-5000. You will never wait on hold or be re-directed, AHHHH! You will be dealing with pleasant individuals that will handle the application from start to finish. This active approach is reflected in our customer’s satisfaction. We welcome you to read just some of our aircraft loan customer testimonials found on our website: Testimonials

We listen to our aircraft loan applicants and find there are good people everywhere that just need a second chance.
